This specialized supplement from Viridian combines NAC, Chromium, L-Glutamine and Cinnamon in a formula developed by our in-house team of expert nutritionists.

The main ingredient is N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC), of which two capsules provide 800 mg. Cysteine is one of 20 amino acids that form the building blocks of proteins used throughout the body. Cysteine is a non-essential amino acid and one of 12 amino acids that can be produced naturally by the body. Provided in the form of N-Acetyl L-Cysteine, it offers stability and greater bioavailability to the body.

Added to this is a second amino acid, L-Glutamine. This is the most common amino acid and is found in large quantities in muscles. Foods that contain L-Glutamine are red meat, dairy products, and fish.

The addition of chromium helps maintain normal blood glucose levels. Finally, cinnamon, also known as “sweetwood,” is the brown bark of the cinnamon tree that is dried and ground into a powder. This spice has been well studied clinically and has a long history of use in both Eastern and Western cultures. Originating from India, Ceylon cinnamon bark extract is also known as “true” cinnamon.

Recommended doses:
2 capsules per day to complement main meals. The capsule can be opened and the contents mixed in a little water. Do not exceed the indicated dose unless recommended by your doctor.

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) 800mg, L-Glutamine 200mg, Cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia bark) extract (30:1) providing 20% polyphenols 60mg, Chromium (picolinate) 400µg (1000*), in a base of alfalfa, spirulina and bilberry, Vegetable cellulose capsule.
